Building on Success: HealthDesk Expands 2025 Cohort

Following the success of its inaugural year, GW HealthDesk expanded the Student Digital Health Coach program through Spring and Summer 2025. This year, the program integrated high school students from across D.C., creating new pathways for young people interested in medical and health careers. Together, student coaches helped connect over 300 patients to digital health resources, continuing to strengthen patient engagement and digital literacy in underserved communities.

The HealthDesk team looks forward to refining and expanding the program further next year, continuing its mission to improve health equity through education, technology, and community engagement.
