Simonne Vincent graduated from American University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and public health. She has interned with Catholic Charities in their social work program, Compass, assisting to develop their social work initiatives in Wards 7 and 8 of Washington, D.C. Ms. Vincent has also interned with the World Health Organization/ Pan American Health Organization headquarters in Washington, D.C in their Health Promotion Unit organizing their annual Wellness Week events and social media campaign. As Program Coordinator for the HealthDesk, Ms. Vincent organizes HealthDesk event logistics, and collaborates with HealthDesk’s community partners in training and recruiting community volunteers; and coordinating future events. |
